Stanley and Stanford
Stanley, also known as Grunkle Stan, is a gruff but caring great uncle who runs the Mystery Shack in Gravity Falls, Oregon. He has a troubled past and is initially portrayed as selfish and cynical. However, throughout the series, his softer side is revealed, particularly in his interactions with his great-niece Mabel and nephew Dipper. His twin brother, Ford Pines, also known as Stanford, is a brilliant and gentle individual who is responsible for writing the mysterious journals that hold the secrets of Gravity Falls. The story revolves around the adventures of Dipper and Mabel as they spend their summer with Grunkle Stan and uncover the mysteries of the town. Along the way, they encounter supernatural creatures and events that challenge their understanding of the world.
